Waffle Squadron Omega started out as just a crazy name we came up with when we wanted to turn our old Genki Web site into something new with actual hosting, etc. It would be a place where we could do some reviews, write about events we attended and generally post any projects we were working on. The original WSO site was fun, but it was built too primitively to easily accept any overall changes we wanted to make to the site. It was also pretty difficult for anyone to make new articles/posts without some web development knowledge. So, we turned to WordPress, the free blogging software you see now.
The icons in the header up there pretty much tell you what this site is all about. There will be some reviews, and some real life posts, game-related news, total randomness, etc. But, one of the main reasons this website exists is so we can display the various video projects we create. We’ve been developing a Waffle Squadron Omega cartoon show for a long time now, so you’ll eventually see episodes of that up here. However, we all have jobs and real lives so the collaborative writing on that can be pretty slow.
